The European Fun Cup 2025, is this coming weekend at Dijon-Prenois!
The off-season is finally over for theEuropean Fun Cup, the Belgian championship whose 2025 competition kicks off this coming weekend... in France, on the superb Dijon-Prenois track.
A weekend that will see theEuropean Fun Cup, but also the Fun Cup France, share the track, even though each series will contest its own 4-hour races on both Saturday and Sunday.
The kick-off of the European Fun Cup 2025 marks above all the realization of the ambitions of M3 be, the structure managed by Benoit Abdelatif, who will be able to count on a field of 44 cars, including 38 100% Belgian, next weekend in Burgundy Franche-Comté.
Let's face it, the 2024 season wasn't exactly ours, as we had taken over the calendar from the previous organizer," comments Benoit Abdelatif. This time, the competition bears the M3 be hallmark, and after a first non-championship event on the Spanish circuit of Valencia, which has already attracted a good twenty Belgian crews, we're delighted to note that a real dynamic prevails on the Fun Cup front. If we add up the number of participants from Belgium and France, we'll have a hundred cars lining up for the 3.2-kilometre Dijon circuit this weekend! That's a promise... "

The first line-up for theEuropean Fun Cup 2025 confirms that the nascent season is full of promise, with the average number of entrants rising steadily... " With 38 cars from Belgium, plus a few from French competition, taking part in theEuropean Fun Cup races, we can see that Dijon is on a par with the jousts organized at Zolder or Zandvoort, which is very promising," continues the discipline's G.O.. This gives the championship a great tone, especially as we're seeing some newcomers and returning drivers, further strengthening the Fun Cup community.
We recently organized our first Track-Day at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, bringing together some 77 Fun Cups... and inspiring some of them to join us in Dijon! And that's exactly what we were aiming for: to demonstrate that the discipline continues to win people over. The announced success of our World Cup on the Kyalami circuit in South Africa, to be held from January 16 to 18, 2026, already confirms this, with over 80 crews already registered. The project to race at Daytona International Speedway in Florida is also taking shape, which means that the Fun Cup is heading in the right direction!
This coming weekend, theEuropean Fun Cup will present its new face, with a number of top names changing teams, such as Lucas Taelman, who has moved from Mazuin to Milo, and Guillaume Mondron, who joins the ranks of M3M. Evan Giltaire will be joining Kevin Balthazar and Ludovic Bellinato for No Limit Racing, while the famous singer Claudio Capeo will once again indulge his passion for racing at the wheel of a Fun Cup! Also of note is theJean-Michel Baert/Martin Businaro partnership at the wheel of #007Horizons Neufs by Comtoyou.
As for #478, it will be able to count on a duo arriving from... Singapore! With Milo, Comtoyou, Currus Racing, M3M, SRS, Clubsport Racing and many others, the first batch for 2025 is a quality one, all the more so as the Fun Cup confirms more than ever its image as the ideal discipline for having fun with friends... or family! And the Laffite, Tabery, Mazuin, Rédélé, Schroeder and Bauchau crews are just the thing!
As you can see, everything is in place for the European Fun Cup 2025 to take off perfectly on the Circuit de Dijon-Prenois, which remains an ode to driving! The two 4-hour races are scheduled respectively for Saturday at 2.15pm and Sunday at 8.45am.
Keep it rolling!
